Feeling: wet
Wow, I haven't posted in a really long time... tomorrow it would be s month since I posted last. Wow. What is with me and posting at the end of the month? I don't know. Well I am again going to talk about my apparently Grandmotherly habit of knitting. As I said last month I knit really, really, painstakingly slow. Like, well my Grandmother can knit faster than I can and she is like three times my age, I find that really embarrassing. A friend of mine pointed out that knitting is something only 80 year old Grandmothers do. Which most of my other friends agree with. But I know there are some young knitters out there! Young Knitters of the World Unite!!! So, I am going to bore you to death and probably loose any chance i had at getting a follower by listing all the projects I am working on at once.
- My best friends Christmas gift, consisting of, a hat, a scarf and arm warmers that I call Wristies because she wanted them short so as to only cover her wrist which I promised for last x-mas so I am going to give them to her the next time I see her. And just to make you even more out of your mind bored, they are black and off white, off white trim on everything (garter stitch) and black everything else (stockinet stitch). They are really cute but i didn't realize the hat pattern called for double pointed needles to finish the decreasing which irks me because I can't use them yet and the hat will have to be put on hold which puts everything on hold.
- My other best friends Christmas gift, also consisting of hat, scarf, and Wristies. This one is in a variegated green, teal, lilac, and navy yarn all in stockinet stitch. This is a lot shorter than my first bullet point so I am going to babble a little bit. Done!
- A purple sweater for moi. Not very far along with that, I started in January and its August and all I have done is 20 in of the back... humm a testament to my short attention span and slow knitting skills.... SQUIRREL! Sorry, what was I saying.
- And squares for my giant patch work knit quilt. I still have 154 4in x 4in squares left to knit. A LONG way to go.
